We will meet you at Windermere railway station and transfer you to your accommodation, where there will be a friendly welcome. After check-in, the rest of the day is free.

Travel over a Lake District Mountain Pass
Pass By: Ullswater Lake, England
England's 2nd largest lake.
Stop At: Castlerigg Stone Circle, Castle Lane Underskiddaw, Keswick CA12 4RN England
One of the earliest British circles dating back over 4000 years
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Moot Hall - Keswick Information Centre, Moot Hall Market Square, Keswick CA12 5JR England
Spend an hour for lunch in the market town of Keswick (please note lunch is not included)

Stop At: Ashness Bridge, Keswick England
Visit the most photographed bridge in the Lake District, Ashness Bridge and continue onto Surprise View, boosting beautiful views over Derwentwater
Duration: 15 minutes

Continue into Borrowdale and over Honister Pass.

Tour Itself: Guide was knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. He was willing to go extra mile for guests, although he seemed to be in a rush the entire day. Many on tour were on it for 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th time and I would certainly do tour again sometime Hotel: Lovely hotel with quaint atmosphere, fancy meals, and a lovely splurge for myself, but I did this tour alone and there were many couples in the hotel. At times the hotel didn't seem to know what to do with THE reservation for one. Also, the included taxis were helpful. No regrets, not sure I would do the included hotel again.
We loved this tour! The lakes district was absolutely beautiful. This tour was such good value. The restaurant was first class. I highly recommend this tour. We had a few days relaxing in the middle of our busy trip to Europe.

It was a wonderful trip. The hotel was superb, first class service and the tour driver/conductor, was a very professional, interesting guide. She was the best. I would recommend this trip to anyone. Thank you again Graham
The tour was great thanks to Peter's knowledge of the area and driving expertise. The accommodations were good and the meals were excellent. There was no wifi available and it was a little distance to walk into town if you did not have a car.
