Met deze open dubbeldekker kunt u zo vaak in- en uitstappen als u maar wilt. De acht haltes op Lijn A en de acht haltes op Lijn B bieden u de gelegenheid om de populairste attracties van Verona te bekijken. U kunt onder meer uitstappen bij Stazione FS Porta Nuova, Basilica San Zeno, Castelvecchio en Teatro Romano. Beide routes zijn verbonden door Halte 1: Piazza Bra en een volledige rondrit duurt ongeveer 60 minuten.

The Hop on Hop off Bus Tour is a great way to familiarise yourself with Verona and all it's major landmarks. The buses run fairly frequently and are clean and well maintained, overall we thought it offered good value for money. We would certainly use the City Tours when visiting any other European destinations.

The trip itself is worthwhile and there's lots to see. Word of warning if you catch the bus at the railway station then beware it took us more than an hour to attempt to find the pick up point. This after taking advice from previous posts. WE walked backwards and forwards trying to find it. Locals looked confused when we tried to ask advice. Anyway as of September this year the pick up point is found by leaving the station exit and turning immediately right. Walk about 100 metres and you should come across the stand. Do not cross the road stay along side the station building. Be aware the buses get delayed so have patience and it will turn up !!

Verona is only a small city but the bus tour gets through the narrow streets beautifully.

This trip while fabulous has to be well thought out as you must remember that the bus only comes at 30 -40 min intervals. Some times you may wish to stay at a number of stops which means you won't see everything at all the stops. It would be good if a smaller bus with more frequent pick up and drop off time were available. Or the ticket lasted for 2 days. Anyhow it was a great way to see some of the sites.
