This trip totally exceeded my expectations. The tour guide, Dave, was an incredible source of information. His knowledge of the Sedona area and Grand Canyon area was truly amazing. He talked for much of the trip and the time just flew by. Having never been to the Grand Canyon before, he was able to maximize our time there not only by sharing the history of the area, but by taking us to some of the less crowded - but incredibly beautiful - spots once we got to the Canyon. This would have been really difficult to do on our own. We had several restroom and shopping stops both to and from the Grand Canyon. He shared the itinerary at the beginning of the trip and reminded us about it along the way. At the end of the day, we were really glad that we decided to do a tour and have someone else drive, since it is quite a distance from Sedona. Another highlight of the trip was the lunch at El Tovar, which was an option that I highly recommend.
What a fun trip... From the very start with Lance picking us up at the hotel to when he dropped us off back at our hotel, we had a great time and some very informative facts from all of our trip guides. The train trip was a very good way to go to the canyon. Relaxing and entertaining. Thanks to all...
Our guide was knowledgeable although he was late picking us up. Overall a fun day despite some spotty weather
Excellent tour. David our guide was great. We had considered driving there, however, now realized what a mistake that would have been. Limited parking and David knew just where to take us to get the best views.
The train ride was superb. We enjoyed the entertainment and scenic ride. We felt we were taken back in time with the scenery and imagined wagon trails and horse drawn carriages along the way. Kristin our tour guide was a wealth of knowledge. She provided plenty of time at each stop to take in the views and take pictures. We saw several elk and deer. We tag this trip as 'modern day wild west'.
Our guide was a delight... very knowledgeable, interesting and entertaining!
We loved our tour guide but felt like we did not get to see much of the park. It took five hours to get to the gates even though it is only a two hour drive. We also only got to see four view points which is not a lot for a twelve hour tour. We expected more time in the park but it is worths doing.
Most amazing day of touring the Grand Canyon. We had a great tour guide that was very upbeat as well as giving us in depth information about the Grand Canyon and the entire area around it. We had plenty of time for pictures and our lunch was more than generous.
We had an amazing tour of the Grand Canyon with David last Monday. If we could hand pick a tour guide it would be David. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and a great sense of humor. Without this tour we would not have seen all the best sights in the Grand Canyon. Loved the small group and hotel pick up. Frequent rest stops was a nice added touch. I recommend the IMAX movie and El Tovar lunch, both were amazing. Well worth the money.
