Riga is de stad van goede koffie, jazz, met volop kleine heerlijke gebakjes en stijlvolle cafés. U krijgt vast ook niet genoeg van de legendarische architectuur in de oude binnenstad. U loopt langs het schitterende Zwarthoofdenhuis dat zich naast het stadhuisplein bevindt en na een wandeling langs de muren van forten en torens gaat u de Sint-Pieterskerk en de Domkerk binnen. Vervolgens wandelt u verder naar de beroemde Laima-klok en door een prachtig operapark, naar het prachtige Riga Opera House.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour- we were the only two on it, so it was a private tour of the old town! We learned a lot about the city and the history of Latvia as well- our guide was extremely knowledgable and made some recommendations for places to stop in after the tour as well. This was a great way to see the Old town and learn about its history.

Fantastic tour. Our guide (Mariya) was wonderful - very informative and tailored the information she gave us to meet our interests. We saw parts of the city we would never have found on our own. It was a brilliant introduction to Riga and we would highly recommend it to others.

Our guide overdid the architecture when we would have preferred more history. We had already done Tallinn which spoiled us .
