Doe mee met onze noorderlichttour deluxe voor de spannende zoektocht naar het noorderlicht (of Aurora Borealis). Gegarandeerd een intieme en comfortabele ervaring, aangezien u niet meer dan 18 medepassagiers hebt in de minibus.
Het avontuur begint wanneer u wordt opgehaald bij uw hotel of pension in Reykjavik (raadpleeg de details over ophalen) en ga lekker comfortabel zitten in de minibus. Direct nadat u bent opgehaald bij de gewenste locatie, rijdt u weg van de lichtvervuiling van de stad op zoek naar de beste plek om het lichtschouwspel te bekijken.
Onze ervaren gids zorgt ervoor dat u kennis maakt u met fascinerende verhalen en feiten over het noorderlicht, inclusief zowel wetenschappelijke informatie als lokale verhalen. U krijgt warme chocolademelk en een deken om warm te blijven en IJslandse zoetigheden die u wakker houden.
Uw spannende zoektocht duurt tussen 3 en 5 uur, afhankelijk van of en wanneer het noorderlicht zich laat zien en hoe ver we moeten rijden voor heldere omstandigheden. Het is belangrijk dat u zich warm kleedt - neem goede kleding en schoenen mee. Het kan hard vriezen tijdens IJslandse winters!
Vergeet niet dat het noorderlicht, prachtig als het is, onvoorspelbaar is: We kunnen nooit waarnemingen garanderen, hoe graag we dat ook zouden willen. Als u geen noorderlicht ziet op uw deluxetour kunt u een andere nacht gratis deelnemen aan de noorderlicht-bustour!
Dus wacht niet te lang, boek de tour neem uw camera mee en doe mee met onze winterse zoektocht! De show kan beginnen!

Waarneming kan niet worden gegarandeerd aangezien het noorderlicht een natuurverschijnsel is.
Wij besluiten dagelijks na 17:00 of de omstandigheden gunstig zijn voor de tour en plaatsen dit op onze Facebook-pagina en sturen een e-mail naar alle grote tourbalies en hotelrecepties als de tour niet doorgaat.
Als er geen noorderlicht te zien is tijdens uw deluxetour kunt u een andere nacht gratis deelnemen aan de noorderlicht-bustour. Als er de tweede of derde keer geen noorderlicht gezien wordt, bieden we passagiers een voucher aan voor een gratis trip, die drie jaar geldig is. Als u een noorderlichttour boekt, maar de tour tijdens uw verblijf wegens de omstandigheden niet kan doorgaan, restitueren we uw ticket volledig.

This tour was great attended in March 2018 - Konrad was friendly and entertaining and kind enough to send us his photographs afterwards. Would highly recommend but would suggest bringing a tripod if you would like to take your own pictures.

I have no problem with the tour company - they cannot control the weather or the possibility of Northern Light sightings. We left Reykjavik and spent 5 hours looking for an opening in the clouds to see the Northern Lights, but never even saw stars. In reality, you probably are not going to see them as depicted in the post cards - a lot of those are made on perfect nights with time exposure. I talked with a local who told me that there are only a few nights each year that viewings are magnificent. My daughter and I finally saw a small glimpse of them when we walked to an area in Reykjavik where light pollution was minimal and we saw a brief glimpse of green overhead. It lasted only a second or two, but we can say we saw them!!

Our guide was really nice and determined to find something to see. Unfortunately, all the action could only be seen through a digital camera. If we had been advised before hand i would have taken one. The images he got on his GoPro were amazing. Pity it was sooo cold and also cold on the bus.

A disappointing tour. A very packed minibus with non functioning seatbelts and very narrow aisles On top of that the driver-guide was extremely rude and couldnt care less. They were not punctual and didnt even apologize A total waste

A great experience, enthusiastic guide. The smaller bus allows you to get further away from the main road and light sources. I would do this again with the same company if i return to Iceland

Unfortunately didn't see the lights and this was no fault of the tour company. But the weather was forecasted for cloud so wasn't expected so would have been nice to have had the option of delaying the tour to another night. We drove out the city and then parked up. As the bus was switched off, we sat in the cold for 2 hours. Bus driver did hand out blankets but could have left the heating on given the cold outside. This unfortunately made it quite an unpleasant experience.

We unfortunately did not get to see the Northern Lights, but our guide really tried to give us the opportunity. In lieu of the lights, we saw stunning views of the stars in the night sky, the Milky Wayc and lots of constellations.
