Full day Caribbean Catalina Island with snorkeling

After you meet your driver and guide at your hotel, board a comfortable, air-conditioned coach for the 60-minute journey to La Romana-Bayahibe . where you’ll board the public boat to the island, after the 35-minute boat ride across the Caribbean, find yourself on a small piece of paradise. Enjoy a welcome drink as your guide tells you a bit about the history and natural features of the island, which is part of the Dominican Republic’s protected Parque Nacional del Este (National Park of the East).

You’ll journey past “La Minitas Beach”, widely recognized as one of the most exclusive stretches of sand on the island. You’ll cruise north towards the mouth of Chavon River and navigate past luxury villas, golf courses and tropical jungle. Your guide will point out colorful birds and local wildlife as you make your way through this incredible landscape.

Next, you’ll head back to the Caribbean Sea towards Catalina Island National Park. Spend 45 minutes snorkeling at “The Wall”, a famous drop-reef zone, known for tropical fish, colorful coral and incredible underwater landscapes. Finally you’ll arrive at Catalina Island where you’ll have the afternoon to spend at your leisure. You can swim, snorkeling, relaxing, it’s up to you!
