After meeting at your hotel or apartment within the city limits of Paris, your private vintage shopping tour begins by hopping in a taxi or on public transportation with your private guide (transportation fees are at your own expense).

When you arrive at the Saint-Ouen Flea Market, explore the various lanes and sections of the market (marché) according to your tastes and interests, from clothes, bags, and jewels to tableware, paintings, and furniture. Depending on your wishes, your guide will lead you through some of the following individual markets: Malassis, Dauphine, Vernaison, Biron, Paul Bert, Serpette, or Jules Vallès. With strong knowledge of the place and some connections with merchants, your guide can help you negotiate prices and find some of the best items. If you wish to buy large pieces such as furniture, the market offers a worldwide shipping service, which your guide can help you arrange.

During your tour, you'll also make a short stop at a traditional café to enjoy a hot beverage.

To ensure the most valuable experience, please provide as many details as possible about your shopping tastes and expectations in advance of your tour so that your guide can prepare a customized itinerary. The following three main themes are in the local tour guide's area of expertise: vintage fashion (clothing, bags, jewelry, embroidery, beads, buttons, jewels, belts, shoes); tableware (including earthenware, porcelain, silverware, and crystal); and Asian arts (including Japanese and Chinese arts). However, your guide will be pleased to work on one or two different themes of your choice, if needed.

Wonderful, exciting, memorable. Our tour guide Solene, an expert in this market. She introduced us to vendors and helped us with our purchases. An experience we would have never had if we had tried to tackle this on our own. For a true French market experience this is definitely the way to go.

Did a number of tours in Paris. This by far was my most favorite. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The guide confirmed my pick up time and took me to the most amazing flea market. She was extremely knowledgeable as to which shops to visit...there are a ton of them and the place is a maze. You have to take this tour if you go to Paris!!!!

What a great time! My guide was so kind and knowledgeable. I gave her a list of things I liked and she was able to find individual items I loved. So glad I did a tour- I would have gotten lost and not have found the places I wanted to see. You need a guide your first time in the St Ouen flea market. The four hours I spent here flew by. I don't usually shop that long. Also included a coffee break in a delightful restaurant.

This was our best day of our entire trip to Paris. Our guide, Solene was lovely, very helpful and knowledgeable about the flea market. She inquired prior to our visit about our interests and made sure we visited the shops that would satisfy our interests. We even went to a quaint café for a drink that was not tourist and gave us a flavor of how the true Parisians spend their days at the flea market. We highly recommend and we will even do this tour on our next visit!
