Head to your cookery school in central Paris the afternoon, then meet your macaron-making instructor over a refreshing drink before beginning your class.

During your hands-on class, listen to step-by-step guidance from your instructor and master the delicate art of macaron making. Learn how to make the meringue shells in the colors of your choosing and master the art of piping in the buttercream filling.

When your macarons are ready, sample your creations with a cup of tea of coffee and listen as your host talks of the macaron’s place in French culture and tradition. After three hours of baking and tasting, take your box of macarons and head outside to conclude your class.

If I could rate this experience 10 stars, I would. What a fantastic way to spend 3 hours in Paris. Le Foodist have a professional set up and a terrific team. Chef Florence ensured we all stayed on track which ensured the eight of us made perfect macarons and they were delicious. If it had not been on our last day in Paris we would have returned for more fun and learnings. I recommend this to everyone. If I find myself in Paris again, this will be my first stop.

This was the highlight of Paris for us. It was WONDERFUL! A must do for someone who has seen some of the sights of this beautiful city. My sister and I were put into a class with 4 others and the 6 of us made so many macarons it was unreal. After the cooking and baking you go upstairs with your class and the table is set with tea and coffee and the delicious macarons we just made. Then you receive boxes to take the rest with you. We each received at least 30 to 40 macarons. This was such a nice afternoon in Paris.

I brought my husband with me to this class even though he wasn't keen. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. Fredrick is an incredibly funny and talented chef and teacher. He made the class fun and enjoyable. I couldn't fault anything about the class. I would love to try the pastry class too. Loved it!
