Tour naar de noordkust en Hanauma Bay
De noordkust van Hawaï wordt al lang beschouwd als een mekka voor surfliefhebbers en grote golfjagers. Banzai Pipeline Beach, de thuisbasis van de The Billabong Pipe Masters en de derde fase van de Vans Triple Crown of Surfing, ontvangen jaarlijks een keur aan 's werelds beste surfers.
Samen met grote golven en rollende branding, is de noordkust ook de thuishaven van peddelsurfen, spotten van wilde dieren en het kleine familiebedrijf Shrimp Trucks. Uw tour start als u om 8:00 uur wordt opgehaald bij uw hotel in Waikiki. Waarna een korte rit door het midden van het eiland naar volgt het beroemde strand van Pipeline, waar jaarlijks de wereldkampioen surfen wordt gekroond. Uw begeleide tour met doorlopend commentaar wordt geleid door een vriendelijke lokale inwoner die alles weet over de geschiedenis en cultuur van het gebied, waardoor u alles te weten komt wat u ooit wilde weten over het meest bevolkte eiland van Hawaï. Vanaf daar gaat u naar de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden aan de noordkust, zoals Waimea Bay, Banzai Pipeline, Dole Plantation en Turtle Town. Na een stop voor de lunch bij de favoriet van de gids, de Shrimp Truck, heeft u tijd om te kajakken of te peddelen voordat u naar Hanauma Bay State Park gaat voor een middag snorkelen en zwemmen. Hanauma Bay State Park wordt regelmatig uitgeroepen tot een van de toplocaties op het eiland Oahu, dus speur naar schildpadden terwijl u boven het rif zwemt tussen scholen felgekleurde vissen en koraal.
Wanneer de tour ten einde loopt, pakt u uw spullen in en gaat u terug naar de Limo voor een korte rit van 30 minuten terug naar Waikiki en uw hotel. Tegen ongeveer 17:00 uur bent u terug en klaar voor het avondeten.

The length of the tour was a little over 9 hours, but every bit of it was terrific. Our tour was Kurt, and driver Eric was fun and energetic and very knowledgeable. For the entire tour, they did not let us get bored and maintained a fun atmosphere. We were given sufficient time to do each activity and enjoyed our lunch as well as a snack. My husband and I booked this tour mainly for the snorkeling! But this tour was so much more! Kurt and Eric, our tour guides were funny and informative! The places we saw, the stories we heard and the laughs we had will go in our memory book!! A must-do for all ages!!!

Doug and Paul were our tour guides and they did an excellent job. Doug managed our time perfectly so we were able to get some extra time at the pipeline because the conditions were good. Overall he shared interesting information about the islands and was very knowledgeable! Excellent tour!
Do not miss this tour and don't use any other company. Had one of the best days of my life. The coolest dude Bo took our small group under his wing for the most amazing day in his bouncy minibus. What a gentleman. Watched the surfers, spent time in the sea at Waimea bay and experienced the washing machine. Paddleboarded at tsume farm and enjoyed a plate lunch. Don't miss the dole whip at the plantation either as it is to die for. Headed through Jurassic valley and on to snorkelling at hanauma bay - what a place, so beautiful and loads of fish. Priceless memories with a sneaky trip in a limo thrown in too. I get goose bumps just thinking about this day. Thank you so much Bo you made two 50 somethings very happy peeps, we fell in love with the north shore and bay and your story telling was brilliant. Keep up the good work.
