U ontmoet uw gids 's middags in Central Park voor het begin van uw wandeling. Uw deskundige gids - een acteur of actrice met ervaring met film of televisie - neemt u mee op een uitgebreide wandeling van 2 uur door het park. U bezoekt meer dan 30 filmlocaties uit uw favoriete films en televisieseries.
Bekijk de stenen Gapstow Bridge, die voorkomt in Home Alone 2, en het beroemde 19 verdiepingen tellende Plaza Hotel, een locatie die voorkomt in diverse films, waaronder Barefoot in the Park, Brewster's Millions, It Could Happen To You, Big Business, Crocodile Dundee, Almost Famous en King of New York.
Ga vervolgens naar de Wollman Rink, die voorkomt in Serendipity, Stepmom, The January Man en Love Story. Ga dan verder naar de onbetwiste bekendste attractie van Central Park: de Carousel. Voor slechts $ 2 USD kunt u een ritje maken op de draaimolen, die te zien is in The Producers, The Spanish Prisoner, Up the Sandbox en I'm Not Rappaport.
Bekijk het prachtige victoriaanse gebouw dat de Central Park Dairy heet en te zien was in Independence Day. Andere locaties die u bezoekt zijn de Bow Bridge, een brug die voorkomt in films als Autumn in New York, Keeping the Faith, The Way We Were en Woody Allens Manhattan; de Naumberg Bandshell, een locatie uit I'm Not Rappaport, Mighty Aphrodite en Hair; en Cherry Hill, waarvan de prachtige lentebloesem van de kersenbomen u het gevoel geeft dat u deel uitmaakt van een scène in The Mirror has Two Faces, en Cruel Intentions.
Loop vervolgens door Strawberry Fields, opgedragen aan John Lennon na zijn dood en ga verder naar Sheep's Meadow en Tavern on the Green, het restaurant dat voorkwam in New York Stories, Wall Street, Made en The Out of Towners.
Uw tour eindigt bij Columbus Circle, waar Taxi Driver, Ghostbusters, Borat en Enchanted werden opgenomen.

We had a great time. It was a little complicated to find the meetup location but we got there in the end. The guide was very knowledgeable and we got to see some parts of the park we had never seen before;)

This was a great walk through the park. We saw all of the “big” sites in the park; Bethesda fountain, the mall, the boathouse, strawberry fields, Wollman rink. And our guide Max was great. He did a great job showing us all the sites and keeping us entertained. So fun to see where so many iconic movies were filmed.

Our Tour Guide was a young actress/singer. The group was quite large and it was sometimes hard to hear what she was saying, but she knew her movies and scenes. Would definitely put this one on your list.

A good introduction to Central Park history and a number of the films and TV filmed there. Our guide Kelsey did a good job of highlighting different locations which would mean something to the wide age range of the group. Images were shown of films on an ipad but it might have been clearer to show print outs. The group was quite large so it wasn't always possible to hear everything. The guidance given for meeting the group was perfect.
