U vertrekt vanaf het Downtown Heliport in Manhattan, vliegt langs de voormalige post van het Amerikaanse leger Governors Island en krijgt vervolgens een close-up van het majestueuze Vrijheidsbeeld, een geschenk van het Franse volk uit de 19e eeuw. Hierna scheert u over het prachtige Battery Park naar Ground Zero, de locatie van de verschrikkelijke gebeurtenissen van 11 september 2001.
U vliegt verder over de rivier de Hudson en langs Wall Street, Chinatown, Little Italy en de felle lichten van het bruisende Times Square voordat u noordwaarts gaat en het wereldberoemde Central Park van New York bereikt, een ware oase in het stadslandschap!
Sportfans zullen genieten van het rondje om het New Yankee Stadium, 's werelds op twee na duurste stadion bij voltooiing van de bouw in 2009. Vervolgens vliegt u over George Washington Bridge en keert u terug naar Manhattan voor een perfect uitzicht op de wereldberoemde skyline van New York, met het Empire State Building, het art deco Chrysler Building en het Met Life Building.
U ziet de Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn en Staten Island en bekijkt de Queensboro Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge en Williamsburg Bridge. Het uitzicht vanuit de lucht op het gebouw van de Verenigde Naties en South Street Seaport tijdens deze vlucht is onvergetelijk. Hierna brengt de helikopter u terug naar New York Harbor via Ellis Island, de eerste stop op Amerikaanse bodem voor meer dan 20 miljoen immigranten.
Of dit nu de eerste keer of de honderdste keer is dat u New York City bezoekt, een New York Grand Island-helikoptervlucht is een spannende manier om deze geweldige stad en de vijf boroughs te ontdekken!

Het plaatsen van helikopters is gebaseerd op een helikopter met 4 of 6 passagiers, afhankelijk van wat op het moment van uw rondleiding beschikbaar is
Vanwege het comfort en het gewicht / de balans van het vliegtuig, zijn passagiers met een gewicht van meer dan 113 kg verplicht om een extra stoel te kopen. Dit is direct aan de touroperator verschuldigd op de dag van de tour. Maximaal gewicht van 300 lb (136 kg) per passagier.
Alle passagiers, inclusief kinderen, moeten een identiteitsbewijs / paspoort hebben of u kunt uw vlucht worden geweigerd

From the moment we arrived attendants and staff were very courteous and helpful. The pilot was friendly and the flight was amazing. Highly recommend taking the flight.

This was a fun little trip, We were a group of 5 so we had the helicopter to ourselves. The pilot was very clear in telling us what landmarks to look at etc. It was a very very smooth ride, highly recommend this tour

A helicopter tour is a great way to see a number of attractions quickly, but I do not think it is an activity that we will do again. There was nothing done in error by the staff, but I think expectations were much higher than reality. Some notes/advice for future guests - The customer service team is very friendly and accommodating due to rainy weather on our tour date, they quickly rescheduled our tour to the following day. - The front desk staff are very friendly, and get you suited up quickly and ready to go. Please do your best to arrive early as requested so as to not hold up the entire group. Also know that you cannot take backpacks or purses with you on the helicopter lockers are available to rent at the Helipad so bring some dollar bills. - To balance the helicopter, my son age 7 had to sit in a middle seat. He told me after the flight that he could barely see out of the windows, so while it was exciting to ride in a helicopter, he saw none of the attractions besides the Statue of Liberty. For him to see the sites was my main reason for booking this activity, so unfortunately this missed the mark. - I'm not sure that they minded, but a couple in our group got split up he was in the back, she was seated in front. If you want to sit with each other, you may want to request this prior to booking. Also note that you will be grouped with strangers, unless you book the entire flight of six yourself. - We booked the Grand Island Tour, which while a longer ride, does not include many additional attractions. We got an extended flight over water while listening to background music. I think the mid-tier option may be the best bang for your buck. - When boarding we were told that we would be able to speak to each other, but the headphones and microphones did not seem to work during our trip. - I'm not sure if it's normal, but our pilot did not speak to us at all during the tour the only information was provided by the pre-recorded messaging as we passe each attraction. This led to a lot of dead air see note above about the background music. It would have been nice to get some local information or additional commentary during this time. So overall, there was nothing done wrong, as noted there were just some areas of expectation that fell a little short.
