Summer Neuschwanstein & Linderhof Castle Cycle Tour by Bus

Enjoy a relaxing, stress-free, zero hassle and all-round top-notch tour by luxury coach through some of the most scenic areas in all of Germany on our way towards the Bavarian Alps to the enchanted Linderhof Palace, the only of the Ludwig II’s 3 majestic projects which was 100% completed. After a short stroll through the palace’s beautiful baroque garden (not in winter) and the tour of the palace interior we stop by the famous village of Oberammergau for a brief visit before proceeding on a lovely 45 minute rural drive to the main attraction, the legendary Neuschwanstein Castle. There we first enjoy an excellent lunch at a local brewery before we ascend the crag (mini mountain) atop which Neuschwanstein stands, which is either a 30 minute walk (uphill) or a short bus ride (2€, yet not offered / possible in winter!). After a visit to the bridge from which we have the best view of the castle (not in winter!) and the tour of the castle’s interior we walk back down together and finally, just prior to departure, we view Schloss Hohenschwngau up close, the castle where Ludwig II grew up. Departure is at approximately 5:15 with arrival back in Munich between 7:30 – 7:45 p.m.
