Ontmoet uw gids aan de voorzijde van de immense gotische Duomo en neem de tijd om de gevel, de standbeelden en meer dan 100 waterspuwers te bewonderen. Vervolgens slaat u de wachtrijen over en gaat u direct naar binnen.
Wandel door het interieur terwijl uw gids vertelt over de 50 glas-in-loodramen in de kathedraal, over de duizenden standbeelden en over de vele kunstwerken.
Ga vervolgens de marmeren trap af naar de ondergrondse crypte waar een 16e-eeuwse aartsbisschop ligt begraven. Als u deze rondleiding in het weekend doet, hebt u twee uur vrije tijd om Milaan te verkennen voordat u de kathedraal opnieuw betreedt. Neem anders de lift naar het dak.
Zodra u boven bent, kunt u genieten van het uitzicht over de stad en het vastleggen met panoramafoto's. Uw gids brengt u dichter bij de beelden, torenspitsen en waterspuwers, en vertelt u meer over de geschiedenis van de kathedraal.
Daarna gaat u terug naar de begane grond en wordt de rondleiding afgesloten.

We were a few minutes late and instead of everyone else waiting and us holding up the tour, they started but Alex was waiting for us and led us to where our group was! Charles our guide... was EXCEPTIONAL!! He was extremely knowledgeable, personable, funny and he made it better than expected!

This guided tour is a must to appreciate the Duomo. Christina was very well-versed on the Duomo, very friendly and affable. The rooftop construction which cut off half of the roof was a disappointment.

Tour guide would start talking as she would walk ahead, and not have her microphone attached, once advised of the issue, she would not repeat the last 5 minutes of what everyone had missed. This would occur regularly throughout the tour. Could have been a much better experience. Tour guide would race ahead and point out to different landmarks throughout Milan or at particular statues and if you were not directly in her presence (first 5 people) in the group of 30 you would have no idea what you missed. There is much detail in the Duomo that you will never get to see as it is always under maintenance.

We were lucky to be the only 2 with the guide for the Duomo tour right at opening. What a great experience. She was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of good interesting information. Inside was spectacular and it got even better on the rooftop. Thank goodness the lift took us up most of the way and then a few steps up to the top. Wow, that's all I can say. Worth doing. Don't skip the rooftop!!

Looking at the queue outside Duomo and Rooftop lift, I felt so great that I could skip the line and made good use of my last day in Milan. Having Serina (hope that I spell her name correctly) as my tour guide, she provided us lots of history about Duomo, especially she showed us different status with stories telling and the crafts along the rooftop (tennis and boxing, sun and moon I remember most). She brought us to the best angel for seeing this magnificent structure and shared her stories to us too, she’s friendly with sense of humour. Thank you very much! But I would like to separate two tours into two days so that I would spend longer inside Duomo, the third biggest cathedral in the world. It’s really sophisticatedly built with knowledge from ancient world. What an incredible architecture!

Chiara brought the history and the importance of this Duomo to life! Both the inside and rooftop are breathtaking to see, and the history behind it all, as well as the little quirks and small things you may miss, made the tour amazing. Tour guide was smart, funny and gave us a few more sights to see in our short stay in Milan. An amazing experience, would highly recommend.

The Duomo on its was great. We had to wait in lines on both the skip the lines so the tour was just ok. Our guide was just ok , she didn't seem very interested

This was a super experience with a VERY well trained guide who was able to get us through the Duomo in a timely fashion, even the day before the new Archbishop of Milan was to be inducted i.e., it was VERY crowded. I highly recommend this tour and really appreciated the teamwork this tour company showed to ensure everyone had an enjoyable experience and the ease of finding the tour operator while in the busy Duomo square.
