Laat Milaan 's ochtends vroeg achter u en geniet van een comfortabele rit per luxe touringcar naar de kuststad Genua (Italiaans: Genova), op ongeveer twee uur rijden ten zuiden van Milaan. Als de geboorteplaats van Christopher Columbus heeft Genua een interessante geschiedenis en tijdens een stadswandeling van twee uur komt u daar van alles over te weten. Genua staat plaatselijk bekend als 'La Superba' (de hoogmoedige) en heeft een rijke maritieme geschiedenis en talrijke bezienswaardigheden!

Na uw wandeling door Genua hebt u enige tijd om de stad zelfstandig te verkennen. Uw gids kan u tips geven over waar u heerlijk kunt lunchen (op eigen kosten) of u kunt ervoor kiezen om nog meer bezienswaardigheden in Genua op te zoeken. Enkele interessante plekken waar u heen kunt gaan, zijn de oude stad (dat op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat), Piazza de Ferrari en het Dogenpaleis.

Vervolg uw reis 's middags naar Santa Margherita Ligure, ten zuidoosten van Genua. Deze prachtige, ouderwetse kustplaats ligt op het deel van de kust dat bekendstaat als de Kust van de Dolfijnen (Costa dei Delfini). Deze naam verwijst naar de grote aantallen dolfijnen die in dit gebied vaak worden gespot. Hier stapt u in de boot voor een prachtige tocht over de baai naar het vissersdorp Portofino.

Breng ongeveer twee uur op uw gemak door met het verkennen van Portofino en ontdek de schoonheid van dit kleine dorp met een schitterende haven en pastelgekleurde huizen aan het water. Als favoriete vakantiebestemming van rijke en beroemde Italianen is Portofino de perfecte plek om naar mensen te kijken of gewoon van de omgeving te genieten. Ga daarna naar Castello Brown, het 16e-eeuwse kasteel van Portofino. Op een heldere dag wordt u beloond met een uitzicht over de Middellandse Zee tot aan de weelderig begroeide bergen in Corsica.

This is a tour I would recommend to anyone who likes the beautiful Italian cities and cost line also The guide at Genoa was extremely knowledgebale.

Totally amazing! Genoa was a busy seaport city with lots of history. Portafino and San Margherite are both beautiful towns. Portofino had spectacular colorful buildings and was very quaint. I would highly recommend this tour.

This guided tour was taken on June 21, 2018. Our main tour guide was Sabrina (from Zani Viaggi) who was professional, knowledgeable,competent and kind. She pointed out special places of interest which should be visited during this quite interesting tour. Loredana was the local guide in Geneva and I enjoyed the city tour - we visited the main attractions of Geneva. I would not mind to repeat the same tour. A day well spent. This tour is highly recommended. My special thanks to Sabrina.

I would rate this tour as a 2 star. The tour guide on the bus was good but seemed to be a little disenteeested in the group. The tour person in Genoa was very informative but we had no opportunity to visit any buildings due to a selfimposed time restraint of the tour. When we arrived in Santa Margarita to get the boat to Porto Fino we had to get a small public bus as no boat was available for us. A small bus should have been arranged for us. by small I mean a bus for 25 to 30 with over 50 squeezed on board. An incident occurred on the small bus on the return of this ride and a tour passage had to be rushed to the hospital. Due to this delay and other items the tour was almost 2 hours late returning to Milan amid heavy rain. We were glibly told with an arm wave where to go to get a taxi to our hotels. The last time we had a trip this far behind scheduled return into the evening the tour operator arranged for transport of all the tour passangers back to our hotels in the interest of our safety. This was very poorly handled and on top of the other items I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

Genoa guide very knowledgeable. Nice free time in Santa Margarita with an abundance of restaurants to have lunch. Portofino was beautiful. Very crowded with cruise ship tourists. Wonderful day
