Nadat u bent opgehaald bij uw ontmoetingspunt in het centrum van Londen, vertrekt u naar Windsor Castle, waar meer dan 900 jaar aan koninklijke geschiedenis op u wacht! Van Willem de Veroveraar tot de huidige koningin, opeenvolgende monarchen hebben in dit kasteel gewoond en hun markering achtergelaten op wat nu een van de grootste doorlopend bewoonde kastelen ter wereld is. Ontdek Windsor Castle op eigen houtje en neem de tijd om St. George’s Chapel en de plechtige staatsvertrekken in volle glorie te bewonderen.

Windsor zelf is een mooie stad vol met traditionele winkels en historische pubs. In één van deze pubs heeft Shakespeare zijn toneelstuk De vrolijke vrouwtjes van Windsor geschreven.

Na een ochtend te hebben doorgebracht in Windsor, kunt u genieten van de terugreis door het Engelse platteland in een comfortabele touringcar met airconditioning. De tour eindigt in Victoria (het centrum van Londen), in de gezellige St. George's Tavern. Hier kunt u genieten van een traditionele lunch met fish and chips.

Our guide was knowledgeable and on the drive to Windsor he gave us a little city tour which we learned about the highlights you see as you are driving through. Once at Windsor the tour itself was self guided. The pub lunch was great.

We thought this would be a a guided tour but unfortunately not. We were the only people on the bus who had lunch as part of our tour so we had to find our own way to the lunch venue which was disappointing. On the up side seeing St George's Chapel was great. Don't think I'd recommend this tour to others.

Our guide John(from Ireland) was great. Knowledgeable, funny and had a lot of historical information along the way. The bus lost air conditioning on the top level before we left for Wondsor Castle on the hottest day of the year in London 102° farenheit or 40° celcius. The driver of Premium Coaches would not touch anything to make it better. John our guide with Premium Tours tried to get us a new coach, but the main office denied his request. John mustered on making the best out of a bad situation. John was great, but I wouldn't use Premium tours again. No reguard for customer comfort or service.

Our 4 hour tour was put on bus with an all day tour, at 7:45 am. At the first stop, tour guide left with large group, telling us to wait for a bus to come pick us up. At 1pm. A bus arrived for the hour and a half ride back to London-bus driver only. Arriving back in London, 6 hrs after leaving, he had no knowledge regarding a pub lunch which had been promised. Just dropped us off at a street corner! Just a complete waste of our time and money!

Windsor is lovely - premier tours was a disorganized mess. We were dropped at Windsor on time so far so good. We were to be picked up at 1230 by a different coach. After standing at a crowded bus lot for 35 minutes the driver showed up and said 1pm was the correct pick up time. We waited 35 minutes in a lot when we could have been enjoying Windsor! While traveling back to London our driver pulled over and said he had driven 4 hours which was the limit and we needed to wait for a replacement driver. Why premier sent a driver who couldn’t get us back to London is beyond me. The first driver said it would be about an hour before we got back (wait time for the replacement driver plus traffic). We bought a morning tour with a pub lunch but nearly everyone decided to leave the bus and take the tube or taxi onto another destination rather than wait around. I would recommend seeing Windsor but use a different tour company!
