Stop At: Buckingham Palace, Spur Road, London SW1A 1AA England

Meet your host in central London and make your way to Buckingham Palace, which has served as the official London residence of the British Royal Family since the 19th century. Receive your prebooked ticket from your host, and then head inside independently to explore the home of Queen Elizabeth II, a rare opportunity only available to the public for approx. eight weeks of the year.

Plug in your audio guide and marvel at the grand chandeliers, extravagant furnishings and treasures from the Royal Collection as you stroll through the State Rooms. You’ll also see the stunning Throne Room, where formal royal wedding photographs are traditionally taken. As you wander, listen to the audio commentary for more insightful information about the palace’s royal residents, history and traditions.

After your audio tour, leave the palace and join back up with your host. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the beautiful St James’s Park to an elegant venue, where you’ll enjoy afternoon tea. As you walk, learn how the quaint tradition is thought to have been started by one of Queen Victoria's ladies-in-waiting.

Recline in one of the plush armchairs and be delighted as the waiting staff present you with a delectable spread of dainty finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and homemade preserves, freshly made cakes and pastries, and a selection of tea.

Your tour ends after tour Afternoon Tea at the venue. With your sweet tooth soothed, bid your host a fond farewell before making your own way back to your hotel or next destination.

A unique services tour of the Buckingham Palace. The self-guided narrated your allowed a leisurely pace. Part of the tour was narrated by the royals. Description should include that tea is at a nearby hotel, not at the palace. But it's still a once in a lifetime experience.

An awesome tour of the Palace followed by afternoon tea. A memorable experience. Our tour guide, Jennifer was lovely and provided wonderful insight and backstories.

Amber is a well informed guide who provided much insight into the palace and the various sites along the road to the palace. She is high energy and really works to draw out the visitors and make sure they are informed. and their needs are being met. This continued to the grounds of the palace and negotiating the entry lines. The palace is a remarkable tour and not o be missed, as it has only limited available time. Amber took time to take photographs of each party at the entrance to the palace and again at tea. Amber gave us adequate time to tour the palace and did a fantastic job of meeting up with the guests after the interior tour. The walk to the. hotel for tea was longer than expected. Amber informed us of this and the option of using a London cab was available. At the tea we were treated royally as Amber continued explaining the history of England's afternoon tea. Overall, a tour I would gladly do again, as there is so much to see at the palace. I would request Amber again as a tour guide for any attraction. She brings an energy and knowledge that is most appreciated.

Great tour that was well worth the price. I was so lucky to have arranged tour for the date that I did, not even knowing that it was the last day of the 8 weeks of the year that it was open!!! Enjoyed seeing some of the gifts that other heads of states and dignitaries have given the Queen. Was a tour I will never forget!!! And the high tea afterwards was also great fun sat with a couple from Scotland and another couple from England, so enjoyed having tea with locals! The hotel is beautiful and made it a great experience. Wonderful tour and tea...I would do it again in a heartbeat!!!
