Beleef de spanning wanneer u de plaatsen en paden van het Palazzo Vecchio ontdekt die niet toegankelijk zijn voor het grote publiek en die pas onlangs voor zeer kleine groepen mensen zijn opengesteld (maximaal 12).
U gaat door de smalle gangen van de middeleeuwse trap van de hertog van Gualtieri en u ontdekt een onverwachte deur achter een schilderij. Bewonder het kostbare en imposante cassetteplafond van de Salone dei Cinquecento en verken het Medici-paleis vanuit een ander en intrigerend gezichtspunt.
Aan het einde van het bezoek (ongeveer 1 uur en een kwartier) gaat de belevenis door met een Florentijnse lunch in een karakteristiek en historisch restaurant op het oude marktplein in het hart van het Medici-district.

Our family has been in Florence for 6 days and had one amazing tour after another until this one... we arrived to the location indicated on the voucher - we new we needed tickets and asked the workers at the entrance and they said we had to wait at the entrance as it noted on the voucher. In every other tour the guide has handed us our ticket. Another family came to the same location asked the same question and ended up waiting with us and then another couple did the exact same process. All 3 guys from each family kept going around and outside the ticket area looking for someone with a sign and found nothing. After about 15 minutes, one of them called the number on the voucher and they sent us in to the ticket office. A very rude man yelled at all of us saying we missed the tour and we didn’t get our tickets to which we all explained what happened.. he kept saying we didn’t get tickets and we kept saying please read the instructions on the voucher and he refused. It’s a shame because the tour was interesting once the lady came back for us and the 1 hour and 1/2 turned into about a 30 min rushed tour. Then the tour guide said she was sick and needed a substitute.. it was total chaos to the point that we almost didn’t want to do the lunch but we did and thankfully that part was wonderful !!

This was my kids favorite tour. We had about 15 people, adults and kids. The guide took us through a small side door into the building and did a nice job explaining the history of the palace and why the secret passageways were created. A great way to get your kids to learn about the history without another boring museum tour! It was a bit challenging to locate the tour guide to start- the voucher wasn't very clear. We had to go into the ticketing office not just stand in front of it. But other than that it was fun.

Fantastic tour. Great knowledge by the guide. One suggestion is to note that you actually get your ticket before you meet the guide. This was not clear to us. The tour was worth it though. The restaurant was OK, but we weren't doing it for that, the tour is worth the price.

A family favorite! We all loved this tour. I highly recommend it. Great guide, fascinating story, and secret passages! Who wouldn't love it?!?
