The tastings start at 12pm, 3pm and 5pm at 12-14 Jeffrey st. Edinburgh. Over the course of one and a half hours guests will sample 4 malt whiskies from different distilleries around Scotland. A tutor will talk about the whisky making process, the history of Scotch whisky and present each whisky. This small group tasting allows guests to ask any questions they may have. Attendees must be at least 18 years old to attend. This tasting can be part of a day out in Edinburgh, the venue is located in the Old Town just off the Royal Mile half-way between Holyrood Palace and Edinburgh Castle.

The whisky tasting is offered at our premises, no pick up or drop off apply. Alcohol will be consumed so it is recommended not to drive to the tasting. No Parking facilities available for whisky tasting attendees.

This was how we started our Scotland vacation and we were glad we did. I came wanting to understand and learn to enjoy Whisky and this was a great way to begin. I left having some idea about different flavour profiles in the different regions. I am ready for the Whisky Trail.

We had a really great experience with this whisky tasting tour hosted by our guide, Hector. He was very informative and personable, and we learned a lot about whisky and why it is considered the water of life in Scotland! It was also fun to taste and compare different types of whisky! Would highly recommend this tours for others.

Our host Hector was very generous with his time and explained the history of scotch as we sampled 4 varieties. We thought it was a good introduction for our time in Scotland. He recommended several sites and restaurants that we enjoyed during our stay.
