Over deze activiteit

U begint uw tour vanuit Edinburgh richting het imposante Stirling Castle en gaat langs de Trossachs (land van Rob Roy) voordat u door de wildernis van Rannoch Moor reist naar Glencoe, de plek waar de McDonald-clan in 1692 werd vermoord.

Vervolgens gaat u richting Fort William en u zult versteld staan bij Ben Nevis, de hoogste berg van Groot-Brittannië, waarna u de Great Glen volgt en stopt in het dorp Fort Augustus aan de oever van het mysterieuze Loch Ness.

Verken de oevers van het meer of geniet gewoon van uw gratis lokaal geproduceerde picknicklunch. (Een gemiddelde lunch bevat een fles Schots mineraalwater, een aantal verse sandwiches en zandkoekjes).

It was a really good trip. Our guide Duncan was well-prepared, well-organised and informative. The trip is worth time and money. The Loch Ness cruise was also pleasant.

Although we were flat-out lied to when we asked Viator if the coach had a toilet the answer is NO, the tour was amazingly wonderful. Our guide was funny, engaging and very knowledgeable... and a great driver of a coach with no toilet.

Beautiful scenery all around. I loved the boat cruise and the town of Dunkeld was so pretty. Glencoe was gorgeous. I was only disappointed that once we got to the moors the light was fading, so we missed most of that part. But still a great day!!

We really enjoyed this excursion. The previous days of our trip, we were racking up 10-12 miles walking a day. This excursion was a welcome break, as we rode the bus nearly the entire day between stop-offs. Our driver was great as well. You can't beat the ease and sights of this trip--- highly recommended!
