8am, your tour guide will pick you up from the lobby of your own booked Beijing hotel. Then go to visit Nanluoguxiang hutong, walk through this local most famous old alleys with 700years history, you will walk in the local Beijingers' life, there are many famous local snacks food here, if you want to taste some of them, our tour guide can recommend that to you. You can pay for that at your own expense.

Then come to the Drum Tower which was built in Ming dynasty 600years ago, get on the top of Drum Tower to have a bird's eye view of the surrounding Hutong area, a real different feel about this ancient city. Then walk to the nearby Houhai lake where is the local very famous bar area in the evening. It is the lunch time now, follow your tour guide to the nearby popular restaurant to taste the famous Pekin Roast Duck for lunch, this is the most famous traditional local Beijing cuisine.

After lunch, come to Tiananmen Square, it is the biggest square in the world, then follow the tour guide to walk in the Forbidden City where is the living and office place for the Ming and Qing dynasty Chinese emperors for 600years. It is the still the biggest palace in the world. Your tour guide will give you a lot of history introduction about Forbidden City and interesting stories about ancient emperors and imperial life.
